David is a former Fitter & Machinist who has transitioned to a more rewarding role in Disability / Aged Care and Community Services. He possess a technical mindset and enjoys being innovative and creative.
In 2019 and 2020, David worked as a volunteer driver for a local community service group and assisted with a disabled neighbour during a period whilst his parents suffered ill health. During this time, David discovered that he was well suited to a role in the disability, community services and aged care sectors.
David is passionate about community inclusion, mental health and the emotional wellbeing of his clients. David’s goal is to work in Diversional Therapy promoting active lifestyle, recreation, creativity and Social and Digital Inclusion to aged, disabled or disadvantaged people.
David is self motivated and can work efficiently with minimal supervision. He is always willing to learn and enjoys undertaking new challenges and is willing to undertake more studies for the right role.
